Ramfis Myrthil is a producer, actor, writer and founding partner of Beast of the East Productions. His mission is to bring the world of film and media closer to an East Coast ethic through narrative feature films that reflect the deepest passion, integrity and honor. In the pursuit of this mission he has built up an arsenal of skills and knowledge working in the film, television and other industries on a wide variety of projects.

He is also active in a number of community organizations. In 2013 Ramfis produced the short Hurricane Sandy documentary “Powerless”, a highly personal project which is tied in to a campaign to help hurricane relief in Long Beach NY. The documentary earned a special Proclamation from the city of Long Beach. He produced a music video for the song “Any Other Way” by the legendary rock group The Zombies, now in post-production. He is Co-producing the feature film “The Teacher,” currently in production. His short film “Love and The Small Print” premiered at the 2012 65th Annual Cannes Film festival and was picked up by Shorts International for worldwide distribution. He produced a pilot for the innovative television project “What’s Cooking in Real Estate.” See credits for a complete listing of projects, festival selections and honors. Ramfis graduated from Queens College In 2008 with a BA in Interdisciplinary studies; Economics and Drama, and trained at Jason Bennett’s Acting School in New York City. He is a member of the Mythic Bridge organization, a non-profit bringing filmmaking education to underserved youth. Ramfis also sits on the music board and young advisors committee of the I Can Still Do That Foundation, a non-profit seeking to help the American worker survive and thrive in difficult economic times.

Adam Lawrence is a Producer/Director and co-founder of Beast of the East Productions, a New York based film company. He received his training under Michael Imperioli at Studio Dante and at the School for Film & Television, in New York City. Adam has produced many short films, including Love and the Small Print (which he also directed). This film premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2012.

His feature film producing credits include the award winning, Bridge and Tunnel and The Teacher. Adam has also produced and directed several music videos for artists including Alexz Johnson, the star of the hit television show, Instant Star, and has the distinction of directing the first-ever official music video for the legendary British band, The Zombies. The video for their 2013 song, Any Other Way, was aired globally and was featured in a Rolling Stone Magazine interview article. Currently, Adam is working to develop several feature films and continues to build the brand of Beast of the East Productions throughout the entertainment industry.

Beast of the East Productions is a New York based film company. The company was founded by Ramfis Myrthil and Adam Lawrence. Over the years they took their knowledge of the industry and have incorporated it into Beast of the East Productions.
